Born to deeply religious minded parents in 1959 at Jammu, India, Dr. Rajeev Mohan Kaushik had his initial schooling at Jammu. He did his MBBS from the prestigious Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, India and MD (Medicine) from Medical College, Jammu. Presently, he is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine, Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Dehradun, India. Earlier he worked in various capacities as a physician in Jammu and Tobruk, Libya. He has many publications in the international medical journals and has been a faculty in several international medical congresses. He was awarded Fellowship of the Indian College of Physicians for his significant contribution towards promoting a rational combination of alternative therapies with modern medical treatment. He
